Retreat to an enchanting oasis where you can relax, rejuvenate and find balance! Package starts at $249/night and is valid through December 28, 2010.

The Kobido Facial
The Kobido technique was established in 1472 in Japan using sacred, ancient massage movements on the face, neck, and scalp muscles to achieve impressive results and improve health. The massage is performed lightly with smooth stroking and quick, light, percussive techniques. Depending on the skin’s condition, a combination of deep-kneading is used to work the muscles underneath the surface tissues. The Kobido technique requires extensive training and practice. It has been passed down from master to student from one generation to the next and only a small number of therapists in the U.S. are certified in the technique.

The Kobido facial at The Huntington Spa produces immediate lifting results through the incorporation of shiatsu movements and therapeutic techniques which stimulate facial nerves to improve blood flow, remove toxins and dead skin cells. The facial stimulates skin tone, improves circulation, promotes relaxation, and encourages collagen growth over time. Therapist Joo-Mee Song offers the Kobido Facial for 75 minutes priced at $275.

Sip & Spa Package
We are continuing the Sip & Spa package through the end of August, which celebrates the anniversary of The Langham, London, which opened in 1865. The special spa and tea package includes a 60-minute Chuan Harmony Massage in The Huntington Spa and Afternoon Tea in The Lobby Lounge for $186.50 (Valid Thursday through Saturday until August 28. Subject to availability).
